We also do Easter baskets and an egg hunt on Easter. Its one of those traditions that the kids enjoy just because they are kids. Among the eggs we hide "Resurrection Eggs". You can find these at a local Christian book store. There are a dozen eggs and inside of each of them there is a symbol that explains part of the last week of Jesus' life leading up to His death and Resurrection. The children can now tell us most of the story of Easter using these symbols.
