I've always wanted to put more emphasis on the time leading up to Easter, or Lent, but have never gotten around to it. This year we purchased a kit for a "Jesus Tree". I've read about this before and I'm pretty sure you don't need a kit to do it, but I'm not very crafty so it helps. I was disappointed to learn that I would have to cut everything out myself, the tree almost did me in. But the kids stepped in today and we are on our way to a new tradition in our home. Each night we will read a verse from the gospels about the life of Christ and add a symbol to our tree. Looking forward to celebrating this time of year for many years to come.
We all knew Nathan did not have enough space in his mouth. So in Jan. he started he journey in orthodontic work. First up is a bite plate and headgear (only worn at night). Just thought relatives might want to see.
I'm thankful we were once again able to spend a few days in the Dells after Christmas. This time away is precious to us as a family. We enjoy just taking a few days to play in the waterpark and enjoy sweet time together. I am thankful for the memories these few days give us.
