We have had such a nice week celebrating the death and resurrection of our risen Savior. Each day we read a different part of the last week of Jesus' life during devotions. On Friday we made our Easter tomb and portrayed Jesus' death on the cross and placed Him in the tomb. Each night we sang different songs about Christ's death. On Saturday we sat in a dark room and talked about how the disciples must have felt the night after Jesus' death, we did not sing that night. This morning the kids woke up to find that Jesus was not in the tomb, He was risen, just as He said. I woke them up singing "Christ the Lord is Risen Today". We continued by singing "Up From the Grave He Arose" and "He Lives". We rejoice that Jesus paid the debt we owe. We serve a risen Savior!
