I don't have any pictures for this one, since we haven't actually done these things yet. But, my friend Emily mentioned me sharing more ideas so I couldn't resist. Like I said in a previous post Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday. So a few more things that we do as a family are:
1. On Thanksgiving morning we write things we are thankful on a table cloth ( with fabric markers). For the little kids that can't write we trace their hand. Everyone else writes what they are most thankful for and the date (we've had this table cloth since 2003 and will still have room to write this year).
2. Sometime Thanksgiving evening we take out our Thanksgiving Journal and try to recount the year and all the many blessings God has given us (we've had this since 2001 and its always fun to look at what we were thankful for the previous year).
3. We take time to read a few scriptures about being thankul (Like Psalm 100). Then we sing Thanksgiving songs like "We've Got so much to be thankful for", "Give Thanks", "I'm Forever Grateful", "Count Your Many Blessings", etc.

SO GREAT!! I love ALL of these ideas. Gavin's going to love them, too. We've incorporated the Thankful tree into our family prayer time each night. ...good stuff! I'm so THANKFUL for all of these great ideas. Thanks!
