Wow! Have we really only posted three times in the past three weeks? Time really flies. We're still here and God is still good. We've recently purchased a new CD called simply Psalms. It is produced by Sovereign Grace Music, whose music we really love. If you click on the logo above, you'll go to their site and be able to sample music from all their albums. We highly recommend Sovereign Grace Music to everyone. They are unmatched in their ability to combine sound doctrine and good music. Favorites around our home are Upward: The Bob Kauflin Hymns Project and Songs for the Cross-centered Life. Enjoy!

Mitch,
I really enjoy Kauflin's music. He's one of my favorite worship guys to listen to, speaking and music.
I got your feedback on the elder blog. Thanks for the recommendations. I've read both of the Dever books, but didn't know about Merkle. As for elders, that is what our church has (we've had them for about 2 years), but they still don't function as a plurality of co-equals. It's almost like a (slightly) more spiritual version of deacons. They still function like a deacon board. Our teaching pastor is trying to get all of them to Dever's "weekender" next spring. We tried to go last year (spring 08) but one elder wasn't particularly enthused. Anyway, thanks again.
Sean
