A new camera

For those of you who have not heard the story I , Kim, dropped our camera in the water behind my aunt Karen and uncle Don's beach house while we were in NC. Therefore, we have not had any new pictures to show for a while. The amazing thing about this whole story is that God was very gracious to us. When I purchased our camera back in March I bought the accidental warranty plan from Best Buy that says even if you drop your camera or spill something on it they will fix it or replace it. Some people may say "Well you were just smart to buy an accidental plan", but I never buy those things and I choose to believe that God in His Sovereignty led me to buy that plan so that when I dropped it we could get a new one. Another amazing thing is that it was in a case that kept it from plummeting to the bottom of the water. Had it been out of the case we would be out of a camera. So I praise God for His protection and blessing on us. One more really cool thing about it was that when I tried to get it fixed in NC my brother Jamie and I drove to Best Buy in Myrtle beach (it took us an hour to get there because we missed our turn and an hour to get back). We didn't get the new camera then, but we did get to spend two hours talking there and back. I'm not sure if I have ever spent two uninterrupted hours talking to my brother. We covered everything from fireworks to politics. It was really fun to spend that time with him, it was priceless. I really believe that God works everything for good for those who love Him and it was good that I got to spend that time with Jamie and good that we got a new camera and good not to stress out about it all.
