My Aunt Karen and Uncle Don were so good to us to rent a house for us to enjoy with my brother's family. It was such a blessing for us to get to spend extended time together. I don't think the kids have ever had that much time just to be together and play together. We had a blast at the beach, but the kids also had fun just making up games to play together at the house. Kathy, my sister in-law, and I spent a lot of good time together, she is a great sister in law and I'm thankful for her. Noah and Lauren were the cutest to watch, they were like "peas and carrots" as Forest Gump said of him and Jenny. They held hands when they walked places together. They were always looking for new pictures we could take of them together. One day at the beach I stood between them and held both of their hands while they jumped over waves for at least 45 minutes. They had so much fun together. One night Lauren stayed out to look at crabs on the beach while Noah came back to the house with me. He was very upset to find out she had not returned with us. After trying to convince me to let him go back out to be with her he said "I just miss her". So precious. Madison, Meghan, and Nathan also had some really sweet times together. I am extremely grateful to Karen and Don for making a way for this week at the beach to happen. The memories we made will last us a lifetime...
