Baseball started for Nathan and Noah last week. In the month of May we will have 22 games between the two of them. We are having a lot of fun going to the ball park and watching them play. Nathan has gotten to pitch twice and has had a total of eight strike outs. He has gotten a lot stronger this year and its fun to watch him pitch, field and hit. His team is now 3-0 a huge jump from not winning a game last year. Needless to say its more fun to win than lose, but I think losing last year was good for his soul. Noah is also having a blast. He didn't know anyone on his team so I wasn't sure he would stick it out, but he has and he is building confidence with every game. He is playing T-ball so there are no winners, but he is keeping score in his own mind. He has had a lot of good hits. Last night he got to be the pitcher. It was fun to watch him learn during the game. During the first inning he would field the ball and throw it to first base. I think he got one guy out this way. After watching the other teams pitcher field the ball and chase down a runner he caught on. For the next two innings he did the same and ended up getting 6 guys out this way. T-ball is fun to watch. I'm a little tired, but I wouldn't trade these times with our kids. They really are priceless.
