Grandma Mae

My grandmother Mae is now with her Maker, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I praise God for her life and her love and her care for me and so many other people. She was a hard worker who loved her family and put other people above herself. When I think of her these verses from Proverbs 31 come to mind "she watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness, her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also and he praises her 'Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all.' Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates. " So I praise God for her life, what a privilege to have known her and to have been loved by her. I was so blessed to be able to spend three days with her this past week. Not everyone is given the opportunity to laugh and reminisce with a loved one before they pass away, but God was good to me and those who love her to give us this time with her. These are the last pictures I took of her in August of last year...
