Reformation Week

This week we studied the Reformation, the time in church history when the Word of God was unleashed from the Catholic church. The children learned about the time Martin Luther posted 95 Thesis on the door of the church in Wittenburg, Germany. They hid Bibles from their dad because during the Reformation Christians were forced to hide copies of God's word. Many Christians were put in prison for reading it. They tried to learn "A Mighty Fortress is Our God", but that is difficult for adults to remember the words to. They had a fun week and learned a lot about Christians who were committed to all people being able to have access to God's Word. Here are a few pictures of them nailing 95 thesis to the door.
