Fall is the time for picking apples. And so for the second year in a row we loaded up the mini-van and went to the apple orchard. Unfortunately, we were between picking times and did more gathering off the ground than actual picking off of the tree. Nevertheless, we had a fun time and have reaped the benefits by enjoying sweet apple pie and apple crisp.
