Toothless

Madison has lost her top two teeth, she's so cute!

Noah Starts T-Ball

With Nathan's season coming to an end, Noah's season is just beginning. Thankfully, Noah's isn't as intense yet. He only has one game or practice a week. He really loves going to his game. It has given him a lot of confidence. It gives him something to call his own, he is so proud when he is playing.

Nathan's last game

Nathan played in the minor league of little league this year. He really did a great job. He was able to pitch a few games, he was a great catcher and he played second base very well. He made a few awesome plays on first base, he was nominated to be an all star and he had 9 hits this season. Unfortunately, his team never won a game. This was hard for him because he is such a competitor. It was a good opportunity to teach him about how God can use all things to work together for good in his life. I have no doubt losing has helped him to learn a lot and will ultimately make him a better player next year. We really love the team we've been on the past few years. All of the players were young this year and will only get better. He made a lot of good friends and we hope the team can continue to stay together over the next few years. Here is a video from his last regular season game...

Summer Time, Summer Time

Summer came in with a bang this week. Unfortunately our A/C went out when it came in. We are cooling off now and thought we would try to post a few pics of our warmer weather.

Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Our sweet baby boy turned two today. So hard to believe! Here are a few pictures from his big day...

The Making of a Cake

Mitch is our family cake decorator. He has decorated most of our children's cakes. I thought you might want to see a true artist at work. We had a car shaped Jeff Gordon pan (thank you Aunt Cynthia) so we used that for the cake. Then Mitch just looked at a picture of Lightning MQueen from the Cars Movie and decorated the cake. I was amazed and proud of him. If you are looking for a cake decorator give him a call (just kidding). We had to make six colors for this cake.
It took at least two hours to make a cake that was eaten in 5 minutes.

The cake was for Benjamin's second birthday, he loves cars.

The hood says "Benjamin".

A happy boy! Good job Dad!

Our first garden

Here are some pictures from our garden. Since the frosts last longer in Wisconsin, we have to plant later than in the South. So everything's just really beginning to take off.

A fence to keep out those rascally rabbits.

Cucumbers
Sweet peas

Self-explanatory

Lettuce

"You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth." Ps.104:14
