Benjamin learns to ride without wheels

Ben has a friend who learned to ride her bike a few weeks ago.  Madison did not want Ben to fall behind so she took it upon herself to teach him to ride without training wheels.  She did a good job.

Hunting Eggs

Fun day hunting eggs with the neighbors. The kids were moving so fast I couldn't get good pics while they were hunting. These are the few I was able to get while they were listening to Mitch.

Signs of a Madison Spring

Spring came early to Madison this year and we couldn't be happier. Bare feet and ice cream cones on the swing, a trip to the zoo, a stroll through the Arboretum, milkshakes at Monte's Blue Plate Diner. Good times!!!

Awana Games Third Place Finish

Even though the kids placed third, it was only by one point and this was a playoff. They were only two points behind first in the first round. Madison and her friend won the three legged race, as did Noah and his buddy. They won some relay's too. Nathan had been waiting to be able to run in the marathon (6 laps around the AWANA circle) since the first time he started T&T games. He got the opportunity to do that this year. Yesterday he was so nervous about it he threw up last night. After feeling better this morning we let him go. He ended up winning the race for his team. It brought tears to my eyes (and Mitch's too). I just love his competitive nature (at times its not pretty, but it really does motivate him to succeed).

Big Snowmen are the Best!

This is the first "Big Snowman" my kids have ever made. Usually when it snows in Madison the temps are so cold the snow is very dry and hard to pack. The snow we had on Friday was perfect for making snow balls and building snowmen. So here is our first Frosty.
