Pictures from Aunt Karen's house

Here are a few of the family pictures we took that day.

Christmas at Aunt Karen's house

This year we had Christmas lunch at my Aunt Karen's house. We had a wonderful meal and the kids enjoyed running outside after lunch.

Madison is a budding artist

After getting her new drawing book from Aunt LaRue, Madison drew these pictures.

Grandma Mae with her great grandchildren

My grandmother is 87 years old and now has eight great grandchildren (half of them are ours). She was blessed to have them all in her home the day before Christmas. We bribed the children with candy to get them all to sit still for the picture.

On to Virgina

Next, we traveled an hour north to Virginia to visit Mitch's parents. It was great to spend time with Mitch's mom, dad, brother and their two girls Katelyn and Kaylee. Madison had the most fun playing with Katelyn. Nathan enjoyed a few games of football with Papa Freeman and Uncle Ted. Noah enjoyed playing cards with grandma and chasing Jeter (the dog) around. Benjamin was just happy to meet everyone. We are so thankful for the sweet time we had with everyone.

Christmas in Wake Forest

The second night we were in town Mama Linda took us all out to dinner. The food was great and the kids had a lot of fun together.
